CATHY GREENFEDER (Western Romance)
“Don’t darling me,” she began, but stopped herself from going on upon meeting the stares of bargain shoppers who leaned on their grocery carts.

The laughing winds of the east race off, my chiton bouncing merrily from one gust to another high above my head.
SARAH CASS (Paranormal Romance)
Each little stone forced its way into her flesh like thousands of hungry little birds. It was just pain, nothing near as bad as she’d lived through already.

JEAN JOACHIM (Contemporary Romance)
"The Big Lie"
She couldn't forget the way his eyes looked at her, startled at first then a flash of pain. What’s he got to be hurt about?
SARAH CASS (Paranormal Romance)
“You were gone for a while.” Reed’s voice echoed through the trees on Kane’s right.  The man wasn’t in sight, but Kane guessed he was farther than the voice indicated.
“Lucius, you sure we should be doing this? The body has been down there for a year. It’ll be a mess and I don’t want to pick it up.”
LINDSAY DOWNS (Regency Romance)
The sound of a hammer being cocked fully back brought him back to reality. Releasing the reins he raised his arms.
V. L. LOCEY (M/M Mythological Romance)
Sadly, I cannot snatch a human from the cold grip of death. They are past the skills of the healer.
IRIS BLOBEL  (Sports Romance)
As he watched her staring at the closing doors he noticed a little flinch. Or had he imagined it?
TRICIA ANDERSEN (Medieval Fantasy Romance)
His eyes bored into hers with a murderous heat.  “What business do you have in these woods?” he demanded.
When at last she was satisfied she leaned back on her heels and inhaled a deep, deep breath. She was sweating and covered in blood but she was another step closer to her dream.
MORGAN WYATT(Contemporary Romance)
"The Inheritance"
If possession was nine-tenths of the law, then she wasn’t leaving. The high-handed Levi would find out she wasn’t a pushover.
"Moonlight Becomes Him"
"It sure is hot." The deep timbre of his voice, a warm caress, broke into her thoughts. "I hope you don't mind," Janssen continued and tugged the bottom of his rugby pullover.
JILLIAN CHANTAL (20th Century Historical)
“Dream up one for me, too, Fi. Once I get rid of Barry, I’ll need one.”
ELIZABETH BLACK (Contem. Sweet Rom. Comedy)
Eric was up to his old antics again, getting frisky out in public, in full view of everyone.
Within seconds of him (Vidal) pulling Juan and their mounts through a gap in the bushes lining the road two horsemen came thundering round the corner and pulled up sharply.

JEAN JOACHIM (Contemporary Romance)
“Well…I mean…I won’t get to see you every day. I won’t get to see you at all.”
TRICIA ANDERSEN(Medieval Fantasy Romance)
She instinctively grasped a nearby linen shirt and
buried her face in it to breathe in the smell of him.
Oh yes.  This was Thatcher's room.
LINDSAY DOWNS (Regency Romance)
After the off chance meeting with Lady Ann a short while ago he needed to leave London for an indeterminate length of time. One for him to get her out of his mind and for her, for he was positive from her expression on seeing him, to forget him.
V. L. LOCEY (M/M, Mythological Romance)
My name is Phoebus Apollo.
IRIS BLOBEL (Sports Romance)

MORGAN WYATT (Contemporary Romance)
"The Inheritance"
The letter fluttered to the floor as she growled, “I’ll see you in court.”
"Live Long and Prosper"
I've been away for a few weeks, leaving all of you hanging as to the next adventure between Eric and I. So, I decided by way of an apology for keeping Bad Boy Eric away from you for such a long time, I thought I'd tell you how Eric came to court me.
KAREN CINO (Contemporary Romance)
A few days had past by since Lorenzo and Pia went for dinner.  Pia was certain Lorenzo wasn’t going to forgive her, not that she knew anything about her bogus marriage.
Paul opened his eye, he could breath, his skin felt normal. He looked around and found he was surrounded by metallic walls.
DAVEE JONES (Erotic Romance)
"Sexy Bea Spelling"
“Andrew jumped in the shower in time to soap Bea's back and massage her shoulders.”
SHERRY GLOAG (Regency Romance)

KENNY SHERWOOD (Reflective Romance)

Thatcher stood and breezed past Ewen.  ”I am not leaving without Miranda.”
SARAH CASS (Paranormal Romance)
Damn, he wanted her, and she knew it too. She knew more than she should, but he trusted her more than the creature that gave him his marching orders.
