JEAN JOACHIM (Contemporary Romance)
Enveloped by the peaceful darkness around her, Mindy watched the midnight moonlight dance on the surface of the lake. She realized how vulnerable she  was, alone in the sparsely wooded area abutting the lake, when she heard a twig crack.
MICHAEL CHARTON (Poetry)
I am up for the bus.
Staring at the large moon in the Southwestern sky.
KAREN CINO (Poetry)
Lost in the twilight of desire,
hidden behind an eclipse,
but found on a summer day.
Should there ever be a lonely day.
I just close my eyes and think of you.

LINDSAY DOWNS (Sensual Suspense)
Sated from love making Jessica brush her lips over Ronny’s bellybutton. She cocked her head sideways to his smiling face as the moonlight his chin.
STEFAN ELLERY (Supernatural)
Brett, lay naked under the moonlight.
LEE ANN SONTHEIMER MURPHY (Sweet Romance)
"Sweet Dreams, True Dreams"
Rain pelted the roof of the lake cabin throughout the long day, heavy and constant.  Gray clouds hung low like despair and darkened her mood.
DAVEE JONES (YA)
"Hi, I’m Helena. I turned twelve this year and will begin junior high in the fall. I’ve lived in the same town and attended the same school system for most of my academic career."
CAROLYN GIBBS (Romantic Suspense)
Lacy and Dan strolled along the beach hand in hand. Lacy squeezed his hand, tugging on his arm.
KATHLEEN BALL (Contemporary Romance)
She stared off across the sea as she often did, remembering when she and Dan had bought the house. They laughed about the widow's walk on the top of the house. It would never be used.
TAINA VICARI (Sci Fi/Fantasy)
Standing on the deck of the boat she stared out into the distance. It was soon approaching sunrise and she could see the moon so bright, it seemed as though she could touch it.  A chill ran up and down her spine, partly from the cold moist air and partly because of what she had just done.
